Enterprise Networks Introduces Concept to Allow Customer Specific IP Security Policies in a Shared Service Center
Bd. Homburg, 11/27/2009
The use of a Shared Service Center by various customers is fairly common nowadays. While the use of Shared Service Centers obviously increases efficiency, it also implies many challenges. One such challenge lies in the coupling of the Shared Service Center with the remaining local infrastrucure of each customer and without undermining customers specific security policies.
To overcome this challenge, Enterprise Networks has now introduced an appropriate conceptual solution. It is based on a specific network design with multiple DMZs within the Shared Service Center. This allows customer specific security policies when integrating the local infrastructure with the Shared Service Center and simplifies operational processes on both sides.
